Star-Studded Line Up Scheduled To Speak Tonight At The DNC

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Some of the biggest names in the Democratic Party will take the stage tonight at the DNC.

The headliner is President Obama. Vice president Joe Biden and Clinton's running mate Tim Kaine will also take the stage during prime time at the Wells Fargo Center.

Hillary for America chairman John Podesta says the party is unified and there will be several special moments tonight.

"All of those speakers will talk about what's at stake in the election, particularly for working people. But they'll also talk about their personal experiences. In the case of the President and Vice President, of working directly with Hillary as a senator and secretary of state."

Former secretary of defense Leon Panetta and other military members are also scheduled to speak about why Clinton is their pick to be commander in chief.
