Person stabbed at SEPTA subway station in Philadelphia near Independence Mall

A person was stabbed on the platform of SEPTA's 5th Street Station Monday night in the area of Independence Mall in Philadelphia.

SEPTA said the stabbing happened at about 10 p.m at the the Market-Frankford Line station located on 5th and Market streets. 

The person who was stabbed is in stable condition, according to SEPTA. 

So far, no arrests have been made. 

It's unclear what led to the stabbing.
