St. Joe's Puts Away Saint Bonaventure 83-74

SAINT BONAVENTURE, N.Y. (AP) — Langston Galloway scored 27 points and pulled down eight rebounds as Saint Joseph's put away Saint Bonaventure 83-74 on Saturday.

The Hawks (21-7, 11-3 Atlantic 10) shot 54 percent from the field and hit eight 3-pointers. DeAndre Bembry finished with 18 points and Ronald Roberts Jr. had 15 on 7-of-8 shooting.

Saint Bonaventure (16-13, 6-9) shot 42.6 percent and went 4 of 13 from deep. Matthew Wright paced the Bonnies with 27 points. Marquise Simmons contributed 13 points and Charlon Kloof added 11 with five assists.

Saint Joseph's led by 11 at the midway mark in the first half, but the Bonnies surged back to make it a five-point game at the half and pushed into the lead early in the second half. A 10-2 run capped by a 3-pointer from Isaiah Miles put the Hawks back in control, 70-59 with 5:57 remaining.
