Shooting In Southwest Philadelphia Leaves Man Injured, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 19-year-old man was shot and injured in Southwest Philadelphia on Wednesday, police say. The shooting occurred on the 6700 block of Greenway Avenue around 12:20 a.m.

Police say they responded to a call for a person with a gun and found the man with a gunshot wound to his groin. He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and listed in stable condition.

There's no word on a motive, no arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered.
