MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (CBS) --  A Burlington County man charged with sexual abuse of a child is now behind bars in New Jersey, after being apprehended in Central America.

Joseph Gorski, 35, of Mount Holly, was charged in late July with abusing a girl for seven years, starting when she was six.

Prosecutors say Gorski fled the state after learning he was being investigated, traveled to California, and crossed the border into Mexico, flying from there to El Salvador.   That's where he was arrested by US marshals in late August.

It took a month to extradite him.

Bail is now set at $300,000.

Gorski's wife, Sharrell, 39, is being held in lieu of  $75,000 bail, accused of knowing what was going on and doing nothing about it.
