Sources: Fishtown Abduction, Sexual Assault Suspect In Custody

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sources tell CBS 3 Eyewitness News that a suspect wanted in connection with an abduction and sexual assault in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood was taken into police custody Monday evening.

Police say a 22-year-old woman was walking along East York Street at around 5:30 a.m. May 1 when she says a man approached her with a handgun and forced her inside a minivan. Police say the woman was sexually assaulted inside the van and dropped off at Almond and Boston Streets.

Sources say 24-year-old Manuel Cintron was found inside of a residence on the 7100 block of Montour Street in Northeast Philadelphia.

Police had recently offered a reward for information leading to his arrest.
