Social Media Today: Twitter Reacts To Beiber Arrest, Vine Turns One, Pinterest Supports GIF's

"BELIEBERS" AND "NON- BELIEBERS" TAKE OVER TWITTER

Twitter exploded following the arrest of pop star Justin Beiber yesterday. According to Twitter, the conversation created more than 6,000 tweets per minute. Various hashtags popped up in support and dislike of the pop star, including #deportbieber, #freejustinbieber and #wewillalwayssupportyoujustin.

PINTEREST OFFICIALLY ROLLS OUT GIF'S
The test is over and now all Pinterest users can play and pause GIFs within pinboards on the platform. Pinterest previously supported only photos and videos until now.
