New Twitter Redesign

Twitter has begun rolling out a major redesign of user profiles.

It features a larger user photo and customizable header image. Your tweets that have the most engagement will display slightly larger than the rest.

The new look is already live for a handful of celebrities, including Michelle Obama, Zac Efron, Kerry Washington and John Legend but the rest of us will have to wait as the new look rolls out over the coming weeks.

Twitter Acquires Cover

Twitter has acquired Cover, an Android lock screen app.

Cover displays the six apps on the Android lock screen that users are most likely to want to use, based on daily analysis of the user's smartphone habits and the current context.

There was no word on how  the technology will be used by the social network but Cover says it will remain available in the Play Store for now.
