Social Media Today: Twitter Experiments, Your Voice Launches, Facebook Tests

Twitter's latest experiment has angered some of its users. A number of people are seeing tweets favorited by others in their timeline, just like retweets. Some are also getting notifications when others follow someone new.

Founders of the anonymous social network Whisper have launched a digital platform called, Your Voice. It will feature videos from users that show people talking about how they've beaten anxiety, depression, and any other mental health problem. Users are encouraged to share their stories and chat with people going through the same kinds of problems.

Facebook is testing a feature that marks fake news stories from sites such as The Onion with "satire" in its News Feed. The social network confirmed the tests to Mashable, saying they received feedback that people wanted a clearer way to distinguish satirical articles from others in the feed.
