Facebook's Snapchat rival Slingshot is now available worldwide.

Launched last week in the U.S., Slingshot can send and receive messages that disappear after a set period of time but there's a twist, you can't see messages until you send something yourself.

Twitter is extending its "hashflags" World Cup feature to use during Ramadan.

For the duration of Ramadan if you use a hashtag in front of the word Ramadan or Eid special icons will appear to signify your support for the celebration.

Twitter's latest experiment is one that many users have wanted for a long time.

First spotted by Mashable, "Retweet with Comment" has been showing up for a small set of users. So when they go to retweet, instead of seeing the standard "Quote Tweet" option they're seeing "Retweet with Comment".
