Snow Blankets Southeast

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)-  The same system bringing snow to our area brought a rare blast of snow and ice hit parts of Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.

It's the first snowfall for Savannah, Georgia in eight years!  I95 was reduced to an icy parking lot in South Carolina where drivers struggled to navigate slippery white out conditions.

Some folks in Georgia and Florida found time to play in the snow making snow angels, having snowball fights, etc.
