Smoke Reported At PHL Terminal

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Officials say fire crews were called to Philadelphia International Airport late Wednesday night, responding to reports of smoke inside one of the terminals.

The smoke was reported around 11:45 p.m. in Terminal B near Gate 11.

Airport officials say it was coming from a small fire in an exhaust fan located inside of the Jet Rock Bar and Grill inside the terminal. The restaurant was closed at the time, and no travelers were in the area.

Officials say fire crews stationed at the airport were able to quickly bring the situation under control, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
