Sixers Exercise Option Of Hollis Thompson
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers have picked up the option for forward Hollis Thompson, the team announced.
The option is the final year of a four-year contract Thompson signed prior to the 2013-14 season. Thompson, 25, will earn a little more than $1 million for the 2016-17 season.
Thompson, a 6'8", 205-pound forward out of Georgetown averages 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in three seasons with the Sixers. He's a 39.1-percent three-point shooter.
