Report: Sixers Sign Guard Jerryd Bayless

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia 76ers have signed guard Jerryd Bayless to a three-year deal worth $27 million, according to an AP source.

Bayless, 27, is 6-3, 200-pounds.

Bayless was the 11th overall pick in 2008 by the Indiana Pacers. He's already played for six NBA teams in seven seasons.

For his career, Bayless averages 8.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists. His career shooting percentages are: 41.5 FG / 36.5 3PG /82.5 FT. However, last season, in 52 games (28.9 minutes per game) with the Milwaukee Bucks, Bayless shot 43.7 percent from three making 1.9 three's per game on 4.4 attempts.

Bayless excelled in catch-and-shoot situations last season, a seemingly perfect fit alongside a point-forward like Ben Simmons.
