Six Vehicle Crash Creates Havoc On Portion of Pennsylvania Turnpike, Police Say

SALFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- A serious crash shut down a portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike's Northeast Extension on Sunday afternoon. Six cars were involved in the accident along the southbound lanes around 12:30 p.m. in Salford Township.

Police say no one was injured in the six-vehicle crash.

The accident caused significant traffic delays between the Quakertown and Lansdale exits.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
