Six Delaware Police Dogs Get Ballistic Vests From Nonprofit

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) — Six police dogs in Delaware have gotten ballistic vests thanks to a Massachusetts nonprofit organization.

The New Castle County Police Department says the group Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., provided the vests for Ace, Diesel, Loki, Max, Figo, and Monty. Each vest costs $950.00 and has a 5 year warranty.

The charity, which was established in 2009 and is based in East Taunton, Massachusetts, provides vests for law enforcement dogs nationwide.
