Sicknesses Caused By E. Coli Outbreak Connected To Romaine Lettuce Growing In Pennsylvania, New Jersey

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The E. coli outbreak connected to romaine lettuce is growing. Eight people in Pennsylvania and seven in New Jersey have now gotten sick from the tainted lettuce.

That's according to new numbers just released by the CDC.

The outbreak has been tied to romaine lettuce grown in Salinas, California.

If you don't know where your lettuce came from, you should throw it out.
