Shooting Victim Collapses In Dunkin' Donuts Parking Lot, Dies At Hospital

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One man is dead following a shooting in North Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

Police say the incident started at 10th and Girard when an unidentified man was shot inside a minivan. He drove from the scene and collapsed less than a block away in the parking lot of a Dunkin' Donuts at 10th and Harper.

A Philadelphia Housing Authority officer who was nearby rushed the victim to Hahnemann University Hospital where he died a short time later.

Police have no suspects or motive for the shooting which is under investigation. A passenger in the van was not hurt.
