Police officer shot in Trenton, New Jersey, authorities say
A police officer was shot in Trenton, New Jersey, Saturday night, according to the Trenton Police Department.
Trenton police told CBS News Philadelphia that an officer is stable after a shooting on Perry Street and North Clinton Avenue around 9 p.m.
The officer was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK, police said.
New Jersey State Police are investigating the incident.
