School Lockdowns Lifted After Shooting In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The lockdown is over at four North Philadelphia schools.

Police say Central and Girls High Schools, along with Howe and Widener Schools, were sealed off as a precaution after a shooting around 11:15 a.m. at Broad and Olney.

The gunfire wounded a 42-year-old man. Police say the victim was able to walk to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he's listed in stable condition.

The shooter is still on the loose. There's no word on the circumstances that led to the violence.

No other injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made at this time.
