Shooting In Grays Ferry; Victim In Extremely Critical Condition

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A man is fighting for his life Thursday morning following being shot in both arms as well as his neck Wednesday night in the Grays Ferry section of the city.

This happened just after 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of 26th and Dickinson.

When police responded to the scene, the victim,21, was unresponsive in the street on the 1500 block of South Taney; a side street near where the shooting was originally reported. He was then rushed to Presbyterian Hospital where he remains in extremely critical condition.

Police were able to recover a shotgun and 2 empty shell casings from a semi-automatic handgun on the sidewalk of the scene.

Police believe 2 shooters are involved, an investigation is ongoing.
