Several Injured, 20 Displaced In Rowhome Fire In Burlington City

BURLINGTON CITY, N.J. (CBS) - Several people, including two children, were injured after a fire rips through a section of rowhomes in Burlington City, New Jersey.

The victims were taken to Lourdes Medical  Center for minor injuries. They were treated at released.

Twenty residents are also now displaced, after several homes were damaged in the 2-alarm blaze.

The Captain James Lawrence Elementary school also cancelled classes for the day due to the active fire scene.

Heavy flames and smoke could be seen from Chopper 3 on the 300 block of Saint Mary's Street.

The fire took crews about two hours to contain.

Four homes were damaged in the fire.

No word yet on the cause.
