Police: Motorcyclist Dies Following Accident On I-476

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) -- A motorcyclist has died following an accident on  I-476 northbound in Plymouth Township on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened shortly around 3 p.m. on the Blue Route northbound, just after the I-76 Schuylkill Expressway exit.

The I-76 Schuylkill Expressway westbound ramp to the northbound Blue Route was closed briefly while police conducted their investigation.

Police confirm one person died in the accident. The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released.
