'Serial' Creators Scheduled To Appear At Kimmel Center This Spring

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Obsessed with Serial?

Then you'll be happy to know that the creators of the murder mystery podcast, Sarah Koenig and Julie Snyder, are scheduled to make an appearance at Philadelphia's Kimmel Center in May.

The pair, who are both radio journalists and producers, will be giving a presentation on their super-successful venture that includes behind-the-scenes stories and a discussion about the evolution of modern journalism.

Serial is a podcast series about true-life stories that launched last fall and was apparently the first series to reach 5 million downloads on iTunes.

The first season focused on a murder that happened in Maryland 15 years ago.

Tickets for Koenig and Snyder's appearance go on sale today (Thursday, March 19th) and the event is slated for May 14th.
