Person Hit, Killed By SEPTA Regional Rail Train In Bucks County

CROYDON, Pa. (CBS) -- A person is dead after officials say they were hit and killed by a SEPTA Regional Rail train Friday morning. This happened around 7 a.m., a mile west of the Croydon station.

SEPTA said in a statement the victim was hit by a Trenton Line train. The engineer reportedly couldn't stop in time.

The incident remains under investigation.
