By Tim Jimenez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A SEPTA train hit a car that was parked on the tracks in Montgomery County overnight.

The accident occurred around midnight in Conshohocken.

SEPTA officials say an inbound Manayunk/Norristown Line train struck the vehicle, which was abandoned at a rail crossing on Poplar Street.

SEPTA says 16 people were on the train but no one was injured. The passengers were shuttled the rest of the route to Center City.

No word from police or SEPTA on who the car belongs to or why it ended up on the tracks.
