SEPTA Train Strikes Taxi On Tracks In Conshohocken; One Injured

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- SEPTA has restored service on its Manayunk/Norristown line after a train struck a disabled taxi that was on the tracks.

The accident happened a little before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cherry Street just south of Poplar Street in Conshohocken.

SEPTA says 55 people were on board the train at the time of the accident. One person suffered a minor head injury.

Nobody was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The accident shut down service on the regional rail for more than two hours.
