Man Stabbed On SEPTA Bus In Frankford

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- One man was stabbed on a SEPTA bus in the Frankford section of the city Friday afternoon.

A SEPTA spokesman says it happened just after 2 p.m. on a Route 56 bus.

The bus was at the intersection of Torresdale Avenue and Paul Street when two passengers apparently got into an argument, and one of the men pulled a knife. SEPTA says one man was stabbed, and the other fled the scene.

SEPTA police and city police are investigating.

SEPTA says it does not appear that the victim's injuries are life threatening.
