Select SEPTA Stops Close On Eve Of Philly Papal Visit

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There are some changes to mass transit that take effect today.

First of all, SEPTA is running on a Saturday schedule, with some enhancements to the Cynwyd Line and the Wilmington-Newark line.

Starting tomorrow, there will only be service from 18 stations in the regional rail system, those stations will shut down at 6 tonight to prepare for tomorrow.

Suburban station is closed now. On the Broad Street line, city hall station is closed, so are the 5th and 15th street stations on the Market Frankford Line.

There are detours on more than two dozen bus routes.

They are routes 12, 124, 125, 16, 17, 2, 21, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 4, 42, 43, 44, 47, 47M, 48, 57, 61, 62, 7, 78, and 9.
