Woman Struck, Killed By SEPTA Trolley In Delaware County

COLLINGDALE, Pa. (CBS) -- A woman is dead after SEPTA says one of their trolleys hit her in Collingdale Friday morning. This happened around 5 a.m. at Woodlawn and Andrews Avenues.

SEPTA said in a statement the operator saw the victim on the tracks but couldn't stop in time.

Authorities have not identified her.
