PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It appears the chief of SEPTA police has lost his pants. Thomas Nestel III shared his unfortunate oversight with his Twitter followers this weekend.
"I had a brilliant plan to get all of my uniform pants dry cleaned at the same time. They lost them. Dear Boss,...."
His admission prompted a hilarious social conversation.
One user even brought up the possibility that Nestel's dry cleaners take SEPTA to work and could be unhappy about Tuesday's potential strike.
@TNestel3 They probably take septa to work and taking it out on you. lol Hope they find them though :)

If they did, that's some serious postage. My collection of uniform pants would put a strain on the biceps. Hell, one of them will do that... https://t.co/yKGS8BagLA

Plan B? Shorts. Despite being just 2 days away from November, it's nearly 80 degrees outside.
