Windows Of SEPTA Bus Reportedly Shattered By BB Gun Blast In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – SEPTA and Philadelphia police have joined forces to find the suspect or suspects who reportedly shot at a bus with a BB gun.

The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A Route 54 bus was traveling on Lehigh Avenue between 15th and 16th Streets when two of its windows were shot at and shattered by a BB gun.

No one inside the bus was injured.

SEPTA is now working with Philadelphia police to find the suspect or suspects responsible. SEPTA says the bus shot at was one of the older models and was not equipped with cameras.
