PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you're shopping in stores, the Secret Service is warning of counterfeit cash. The agency issued a nationwide alert about a sharp increase in counterfeit money being used.

Shoppers are urged to check money they get back from cash transactions.

Some things to look for are foreign writing on bills or font that's in bold black.
