Search For Shooting Suspect Prompts Temporary School District Lockdown In Florence Township

FLORENCE Twp., NJ (CBS) -- Police in Florence Township, Burlington County are looking for one suspect after a shooting early today.

It happened around 8 a.m. on West Front Street between Woodlawn Avenue and Bodine Street.

Police say one man was shot in the arm and taken to the hospital. He has since been released.

The suspect is still at large.

A nearby school was placed on lock down from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as a precaution, but police say students were never in danger.
