Move Over Apple! Scrapple Pies Top Seller At Jersey Shore Shop

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (CBS) - Scrapple and pie usually aren't two words you'd think belong together.

But the owners of Wards Pastry in Ocean City, New Jersey says scrapple is now the bestselling pie flavor at his store

The meat is baked right into a Danish. The result: a breakfast treat that may sound strange, but is apparently quite popular.

The owner says he has been selling twice as many scrapple pies as apple pies.
