Pocono Mountain School District Schools Open Wednesday

By Tim Jimenez

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- UPDATE: All Pocono Mountain School District schools will be open on Wednesday, according to an announcement posted on the district's website.

Schools in the Pocono Mountain School district were closed Tuesday. This coming a day after the second Eric Frein sighting since Friday.

There have been two reported sightings in four days. The latest sighting was reported by a law enforcement official near the Swiftwater Post Office in Monroe County yesterday.

That is very close to Pocono Mountain East High school which is Frein's alma mater. And it was around that school where a woman on Friday told police she got a glimpse of a rifle-toting man who had mud on his face.

Authorities say Frein shot two troopers on September 12th, killing one of them outside of the Blooming Grove barracks in Pike County.

This is day 39 of the search for Eric Frein.
