School Bus With Kids On Board Hits Parked Car In North Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A school bus struck a parked vehicle on the border of East Oak Lane Thursday afternoon.

It happened at around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Broad Street and Chelten Avenue.

Philadelphia police say the bus struck a parked pickup truck, and both vehicles ended up on the curb.

There were several juveniles on the bus, and all of them were taken to Albert Einstein Hospital for evaluation, however, police say no serious injuries occurred and all were in stable condition.

The bus was with Durham School Services had been transporting students from the San Martin Catholic missionary school in the city.

The Philadelphia Police Accident Investigation Division is looking into the crash.
