6 Children Injured In School Bus Accident In New Castle County

BEAR, De. (CBS) -- Chopper 3 was live over a school bus accident in Bear, De on Monday. The incident took place at Summit Bridge and Red Lion Road in New Castle County, De.

Police say a school bus was rear ended by a truck at a red light. Six children on the bus were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their injuries are believed to be minor.

There were 18 total children on board the bus at the time of the accident.

Authorities say the driver of the truck was not injured. There is no word on what led to the accident.
