Sam Bradford 'Not Worried' About His Future
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- When Chip Kelly was asked about Sam Bradford's future in Philadelphia beyond this season, the Eagles' head coach was a matter of fact with his answer.
"We've always wanted Sam here," Kelly said on Monday. "We wouldn't have traded for him if we thought he was going to be here for a year."
Bradford, contrarily, kept his future plans close to the vest.
"I'll get into that in the offseason," Bradford said Wednesday via NJ.com. "I'll think about that in the offseason. I'm not too worried about what is going to happen three or four months down the line."
The 28-year-old QB is in the fifth and final year of his rookie contract, but first in Philly. Wednesday morning on the 94WIP Morning Show, NFL writer Peter King said Bradford's contract will be "one of the most difficult contracts to execute" this offseason.
But does Bradford even want to stay in Philly?
"I'm not worried about that right now, so I can't really give you an answer," Bradford said via NJ.com. "I do like it here. It's a lot different than anywhere I've ever been before, but I really do enjoy it here."
