Saint Joseph's Beats Temple 66-65 In OT In Big 5 Showdown

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — DeAndre Bembry had 17 points and 13 rebounds, Lamarr Kimble hit the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime, and Saint Joseph's beat Temple 66-65 on Sunday in the Big 5.

It was Saint Joseph's first away win in the series since 2008.

Kimble's 3 put the Hawks up 66-64 with 2:13 left in OT, then Obi Enechionyia made 1 of 2 free throws to pull Temple within 66-65. Both teams missed 3-pointers before time ran out.

Isaiah Miles had 12 points and 15 rebounds, and Aaron Brown and Kimble scored 11 apiece for the Hawks (7-2), who shot 34 percent from the field.

Up 34-32 at halftime, Saint Joseph's led 61-57 after Kimble's 3 with 59 seconds left. But Brown replied with a jumper and Quenton DeCosey tied it at 61 with a dunk. Miles missed a long 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Enechionyia scored a career-high 25, and Brown and DeCosey scored 13 apiece for Temple (4-5).
