Ryan Howard Nominated For MLB's Roberto Clemente Award

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Ryan Howard continues his successful career on and off the baseball diamond.

On Wednesday night, Howard was recognized for being the Phillies' nominee of the 2016 Major League Baseball Roberto Clemente Award.

The award "best represents the game of baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions, both on and off the field," according to MLB.com.
