Runners From Cancelled NJ Race To Participate In NYC Event

NEW YORK (AP) — Some runners from a New Jersey race cancelled after a pipe bomb explosion will participate in a New York City charity event.

Organizers tell WCBS that runners from New Jersey's Seaside Semper Five Marine Corps fundraiser have accepted their invitation to take part in the annual Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers race.

The race will be run Sunday from the Hugh L. Carey tunnel to the World Trade Center site.
