Fatal Accident Shuts Down Portion Of Route 130 In Burlington County

DELRAN, N.J. (CBS) -- A fatal accident has shut down a portion of Route 130 in Burlington County on Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. on Rt. 130 northbound in the area of Tenby Chase Dr.

Police say John J. DeVece, 44, of Delran was struck by the driver of a red Nissan SUV. DeVece was pronounced dead at the scene.

The northbound side of Route 130 was closed for hours while police conducted their investigation.
