Roger Staubach: 'I'd Draft Johnny Manziel #1 Overall'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Depending on which expert you listen to, former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel should go from the top of the NFL Draft, all the way down through the fourth round.

His unpredictability and size has led many to say he'll have a tough time adjusting to the NFL, while many point to his playmaking ability and college stats as proof that he'll be a special player.

Former Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach is looking on the bright side.

Staubach told the NFL Network on Wednesday that if he was drafting #1 overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, he'd select Johnny Manziel over Jadeveon Clowney.

"I just think there's something about this kid," Staubach said.  " {Manziel] is a Russell Wilson-type player."

"He doesn't have the height, he has a strong arm, he throws with accuracy," Staubach said.
