Authorities ID Victim Killed In Allentown Road Rage Shooting

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- The victim of a deadly road rage shooting in Allentown has been identified.

Charles Hughes III, 32,  died Wednesday afternoon from a single shotgun wound to his chest.

"He was in the middle of the street. He shot the guy in the middle of the street and the guy collapsed over here in the sidewalk," said a witness.

Curtis Thomas is accused of shooting Hughes in the 800 block of Wyoming Street.

Thomas was arrested yesterday after a short police pursuit.

He is facing a number of charges, including criminal homicide and attempting to elude police.
