Reward Offered In Cherry Hill 'Finger-biting' Attack

CHERRY HILL, NJ (CBS) – A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of a woman accused of violently assaulting another woman at the Cherry Hill Mall earlier in March (see previous story).

The alleged attack happened on March 8 in the Nordstrom parking lot by Aisle 18. Two motorists reportedly got into an argument over a parking spot that ended with a physical altercation.

Police say two females confronted the victim, and one of those women bit the victim's finger so hard it was nearly severed.

Cherry Hill Police and the Cherry Hill Mall are now offering a reward of $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the attacker.

The suspect is described as a black female in her mid-30s. She's heavyset with "bushy" hair and was possibly operating an older model sedan that is dark colored.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
