Reward Offered For Arrest In Hit-And-Run That Killed 2-Year-Old Boy

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police have identified a suspect in an April hit-and-run crash that killed a 2-year-old boy crossing the street with his mother.

The city on Friday offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of 22- year-old Miguel Colon.

Police say Colon was behind the wheel of the 2006 Infiniti that struck David Alicea and his 19-year-old mother around 7 p.m., April 13 in the city's Kensington section.

The woman was critically injured, but recovered quickly and remained at David's bedside at St. Christopher's Hospital until he succumbed to his injuries on April 16.
