Reward In Northern Liberties Purse-Snatch Murder Increased To $37,000

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — As the search continues for the suspects wanted for the murder of a 26-year old in Northern Liberties last weekend, the reward for information leading the suspects is being increased.

The Citizens Crime Commission says the reward is now $37,000 for information that helps Philadelphia Police make an arrest in the robbery and shooting death of Amber Long.

Long and her mother were targeted by two purse-snatchers last Sunday night.

In surveillance video released by Philadelphia Police, one robber grabs the purse of Long's and starts to run, while a second robber grabs Long's purse, spinning her around.  An instant later, Amber was shot and dying in her mother's arms (see related story).
