What a pleasant find this was – and thanks to the loyalists who kept telling me to check it out. I really do pay attention to the tweets and Facebook mentions telling me to go. You know what I mean.

Billy Burger is a tiny hole-in-the-wall, with a friendly staff, delectable bakery items and – yes – one fine burger. It's cooked on a real grill, not just a silver cooking surface, so you get actual grill marks on your burger. Kind of small and thin, but it's that good black angus beef that's full of flavor. They also throw the Aversa white roll right on the grill to give it some char, which is a nice touch.

Everything works here – the onion rings with horseradish sauce, the gooey milkshakes, the Mexican Coke. That's not a drug, that's Coke imported from Mexico, where they use sugar rather than corn Syrup. You'll taste the difference. Billy Burger is one of the fun discoveries of this food hunt. I'll be back.
