Live Reptile Exhibit Debuts At The Academy Of Natural Sciences

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A new live reptile exhibit has opened at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.
Press a button at the Speak Crock Exhibit and you could hear the sound of a baby fresh water crocodile cry out for its momma.
Another interactive exhibit demonstrates how a viper snake is milked and how snakebite serum is made.
However, the stars of the show are the animals.
Mary Bailey is with special exhibits at The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.
"There is about 20 different animals living in here and they range from you know small snakes on up to a dwarf crocodile. It does include venomous species as well. There are a few venomous snakes and also a venomous reptile (lizard) a Gila monster," Bailey said.
"Reptiles: The Beautiful and the Deadly," show runs through the fall.
